OnRobot, the global leader in hardware and software solutions for collaborative applications, has launched OnRobot Palletizer, a complete collaborative palletizing solution designed to take the physical and financial pain out of palletizing processes.
AboutRobot Palletizer extends OnRobot’s application-driven approach to collaborative automation by allowing users to choose a palletizing system that meets their specific application needs with its small footprint and ability to handle many types of boxes, packages, models, pallets and stacking heights. Compatible with collaborative robots and light industrial robots from Doosan, FANUC, OMRON, Techman and Universal Robots brands, the OnRobot Palletizer is available as a complete system out of the box or as individual components to create a mix-and-match -match the solution. The OnRobot Palletizer includes four new hardware and software products:
• OnRobot Palletizing, intuitive palletizing software that guides users through deployment from start to finish via a single smart interface for all components. It is also a real time saver designed to reduce overall project costs. Once the physical hardware is in place and secure, the end user or integrator simply opens OnRobot Palletizing to receive step-by-step guidance through the process of setting up a palletizing application. Designed to reduce deployment time by eliminating complexity, the software allows even inexperienced end users to deploy the system in a fraction of the time it would take using traditional programming interfaces. For example, using OnRobot Palletizing, an inexperienced end user can set up a complete palletizing application in a day, compared to 12 days or more with conventional programming software. Redeployment is even faster, with the same inexperienced end user reprogramming the cell for a different palletizing application in just half a day. Palletizing application deployment guidance is also available on the free Learn OnRobot e-learning platform.
• The OnRobot 2FGP20, a powerful and versatile electric palletizing gripper with a 20 kg payload and customizable arms that can handle standard cardboard boxes as well as open boxes and ready-to-use products while handling slip sheets without changing grippers or requiring additional handling; no external air supply required.
• The OnRobot Lift100, a robust lifter with a total payload of 100 kg which offers a 7th axis for brands of cobots and light industrial robots; TÜV-certified shutdown functionality facilitates safe and efficient collaborative deployments; ensures safe and precise positioning even at high speeds.
• OnRobot Pallet Station, durable floor-mounted pallet clamps designed to ensure consistent positioning; each comes with a built-in sensor to detect the presence of pallets.
